Alright, I'm going to be a good alt and start this blog up. I'll be posting music, videos, fashion, and crazy pics I find. Maybe talk about upstate a lil too, why not?
Yesterday some of my friends and me went to Cuse to catch the Ra Ra Riot show, me and my buddy Baron didn't have tickets tho. Being that they were from Cuse naturally the show sold out and NO ONE was selling tickets. So we decided we'll just hit the bars, FUCK IT right? But before I tell that story let me give you the run down.
Basically Baron and I were on a strict budget for this adventure, we both had 20 beans and the concert tickets were 12. As we were getting into Cuse, KT basically let us know that we weren't getting tickets to the show cause it was sold out. This is were it gets interesting.
Luckily Bromeo had some fire, so we went to one of his old College Bro's place and indulged. Once that was over with it was decided that
Dinosaur BBQ was our next stop. Being that Baron and I were poor for that day this wasn't going to fly with us, mission find a Dive Bar with PBR begins!
At this point we are wandering around
Armory Square, with no Dive or PBR insight, checked a couple places out with the walk in and out move (one dude was not very happy about this had said something like "Why the fuck did you come in if you don't want something.."). Baron wanted to hit up
Sound Garden, and I thought this was a good time killer so we did. It's a must go if you in Syracuse, Baron bought some indie CD that I have no idea how to pronounce the name but whatever.
After about an hour of browsing we continued on mission Dive with PBR, and because the sun shines on a dogs ass somedays (or however the fuck it goes) we walk into this Irish Pub with a dude at the bar with a PBR Tall Boi. FUCKING SCORE BITCHES, so now I'm at $18.00 with one PBR in me (NH), and we head back over to Dino BBQ.
When the Baron and myself get there Bromeo and the Bros had just gotten there food. I ordered some Chili, it was bangin, and we mowed what Bromeo and the Bros didn't want. YESSSSS! Lunch for 5 beans, I'm down to $13.00 and the Baron is still at $18.00.
After lunch, we go back to he Bros house and indulge again (Thank You Bromeo). OK so now we gotta go to this show.
We get to the
Westcott and make the final decision that we aren't going to even try to get tickets (Passion Pit wasn't playing anyways so I could careless about RaRa Riot). After splitting a pack of 27's the money count was now at, Baron = $15.00 Me = $9.75.
At this point we not what must go down, pool our money go to
Chuck's (Thats a lil youtube vid to give you an idea). So after a bunch of pitchers of Honey Brown and some French Fries (Thank you whoever that 2 beans came from) I was blasted as was the Baron. Having enough of the Bros at Chuck's, although there are some babies there. We bounce.
Bromeo picked us up, and we come back to the UT.
Moral of this blog, you can eat and get fucked up in Cuse with 20 beans no problem.
